Ever since I can remember, I have always loved to color or create something. I get great joy from the end results of allowing my mind to run free. When I was a small child my grandfather spent uncountable hours teaching me how to color inside of the lines. Now, anytime I have the chance I like to spend time with children coloring with them as well. When I came off the road as an over the road truck driver; I found my self quite withdrawn from the world and my passion for painting was born. I found peace by pushing the paint around on the paper with just about anything I could find. I have always liked creating items from other things. I have made uncountable items and gifts from almost everything. I decided to give wood a try and I found that when you take a simple piece of wood and cut it out, sand it down and the paint it. It becomes a part of you just like the paintings. If you have ever made anything before you know what I am talking about. If you can not remember ever making anything of your own you really must try it. Creating is a part of self expression. Digging deep into one's soul and bringing it to the surface. For me it was like self evaluation therapy. It helped me identify what I need to let go of and move past. I just simply let Jesus be my teacher and I followed along. I love to paint, in particularly with watercolor and some acrylics.
